My lovely Bishops! I have been a loyal customer to you guys for a very long time and although this wonderful woman is not my mother, she is my mother-in-law. unfortunately my mother is no longer with us I feel very fortunate to know this woman and call her my mother. She has the sweetest personality with the biggest heart and unfortunately with the biggest hair! In the pictures it is pulled back because that’s how she always wears it. It needs to be tamed but still show her feisty personality! She is so beautiful inside and out and deserves a day in luxury which I hope you guys can give her. Nominee #3 – Stephanie

I am nominating Stephanie Harlowe for this amazing honor for more than just the fact that she is a mother. she is a woman who after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at a young age, still decided to continue on her journey of being a mother and a wife. fighting every day to work and maintain a positive exterior and attitude to the world hiding away her pain and stress of a disorder that would one day claim her mobility, vision and entire neurological system.

Taking on a blended family & stepmother role of two boys (one in middle school & one in high school), Stephanie decided it was time to have a child herself. working her 9-5 as well as working with fertility specialists & naturopaths all to achieve conception despite the cautions of her condition. Pushing through pregnancy and an fully natural childbirth with mid-wives. Stephanie worked her 9-5 still with her MS fully active; with frequent reoccurring episodes till the day the doctors told her she could no longer be at work due to her MS advancements she finally decided to leave the workplace. not to be deterred or let down she embraced her new “Stay at home mom” direction, caring for her two stepsons as her own as well as her newborn, filling the days with amazing activities, crafts & ideas that were truly awe inspiring. last year she orchestrated a family move of over 130 miles to a neighboring city in order to provide more resources for her family and now 3 year old daughter.

since then she has continued to have more debilitating effects from the MS but has gone on to join an amazing mothers group and home educate her daughter. all of this on top of the usual mountains of tasks,chores & life that mothers endure just being mothers. Stephanie Has organized a MS walk team that has been a key fundraising team in the NorthWest as well as help to share her story and inspire others to not let the restraints of the body affect the passions of the soul. this woman who though she would never have children, has gone on to be a mother whom the world can depend on and see as a shining example that to be a mother is not to lose one’s self to the stress of growing a family but to find one’s self. Through selfless love and support, plus her sense of style is awesome, tattoos beautiful and artistic. Her smile can ignite any room with a happiness and joy not seen in many a lifetime. Her laughter is absolutely infectious and beauty captivating. She has the look of a model and the soul of a true woman who has the timeless knowledge & nurturing nature inspired by the generations of those who came before her. this time & space is truly made better with her energy.

I am more than proud to call Stephanie a mother and more so my wife / life partner. without whom I could not exist.

I would like to nominate my beautiful wife Jessica. This will be her first mothers day to our beautiful daughter Bettie Mae. Jessica started out as a very scared mother. Not knowing what to do or how to handle the situations that have arisen with parenthood. Six months later she has not only gained knowledge, but most importantly gained confidence. She loves Bettie more than anything in the world. I couldn’t ask for a better mother for her. Jessica is the most special mother to our daughter. We both love her very much.
