Nominee #1: Sherry

My mother is the most strongest, smartest, most beautiful woman i know. She has been through so much in her life, first starting with two different bouts of cancers; cervical and breast. She is went back to school to get her high school diploma after not being in school for 30+ years, while also trying to get herself a medical degree. while going through school, she has been working two full time jobs while my father is unemployed, she is trying to get them their own place to live since they live with my grandparents. She hardly ever makes or has time for herself and i truly believe she deserves to have this gift. She has not done anything for herself because she always puts others before herself. she has the biggest heart i have ever seen from a person. Please seriously consider her for your prize.

Nominee #2: Millie

My mom, Millie, truly deserves a day of pampering. As a busy mom of three grown daughters with a full-time career, she has always made time for her family; attending every performance, fundraiser, graduation, and birthday that we have ever had. She is a new grandmother this past year and has taken on the role with the strength and grace that fills every aspect of her life. Despite being raised to feel self conscious and unworthy, she has always fought to make her voice heard; whether it was insisting on women’s rights in a man’s world or simply inspiring us to live honestly and true to ourselves, even if she did not always agree with our choices. In 1969 she moved to Oregon from Columbus, Georgia, after my dad finished his tour in Vietnam, and fell in love with the city. She loves walking on the South Waterfront, going to all the parades, exploring Saturday Market, and generally attending any community event that allows her to explore the city further. My mom is a very practical woman who does not take enough time to spoil herself. She deserves this gift as an opportunity to celebrate her beauty both inside and out. Happy Mothers Day, Mom!!

Hi, my name is Nolan. I think my Momma is the most beautiful woman in the world. My Daddy says he thinks so too, but that I have a couple of things to learn about mommas. Like how even if I think they are beautiful, they can get even more beautiful. And they love to be pampered (at first I was a little confused by this, but he explained that it is a different kind of pampering than I am used to). He also explained that there is one day that mommas get to have anything they want. I think I can give up being the center of attention for one day, especially if it makes her happy.

I would love to be able to give her a gift on that Momma’s day, but I don’t get an allowance yet, so I would love to win the contest.

My momma is a force of nature. A beautiful, bright and sunny person who tries to make everyone around her feel like a goddess, or god She grew up very poor and did everything she could to make something for her self. When I came along her focus shifted, and I was the Sun in her universe. We moved around a lot when I was a child, sometimes we didn’t have a roof over our heads, mostly due to people taking advantage of my mother’s kind heart, but a few nights in the car would turn into a sleepover with my best friend! She is attentive and smart, and gives all of her energy to those around her, even if it sucks her dry. Even though I didn’t have many material items, my childhood was rich and beautiful, all thanks to my momma! She taught me how the real world works, didn’t hide things from me. She taught me how to be a strong and confident woman, and for more reason than I can write down, I think that she should have an amazing Mother’s Day! I tell her everyday how much I love her, but sometimes a lady likes to be pampered

This is my “Mommas”, as my brothers & I like to call her. While the last thing she needs is a makeover, she deserves more than anything to win every contest in the world – especially a package of pampering! Since I can remember, and much longer according to legend, she has been nothing short of an angel to anyone she meets who needs her. She in constantly putting herself before everyone around her and I would love to pay her back – even though if I start today and make it my life’s work, I’ll never be able to repay her for everything she’s done for me. As of right now, I am 24 and recently decided I needed to “find myself.” Well, during the search I quit my very well paying job and have no plan for what’s next. Without a moment of hesitation, my mother offered me a free safe haven to do all of my searching from. To top that grand gesture, this beautiful woman packs me a lunch every day that I have to work my 4 hour part times shifts (my boss made fun of me because she even peeled my orange for me once—that’s how rad she is!) She randomly does my laundry, brings me flowers, and is always leaving me the best notes around the house. She’s my motivation, my encouragement, my rock, my best friend. I’m constantly raving to friends about all of the little things she does for me and I wish everyone could have a mom like her. Line up any mom in the world and I’d still pick her in a heartbeat.

This is not only my son’s mom, but she is one of my best friends in the world! She deserves a break. She is a full time mom, works a job AND goes to school. I’d like her to win so she knows that I do appreciate her.

Nominee #7: Julie

We’re nominating our Mom, Julie, because she’s awesome! She spent the last 8 years taking care of both of us by herself and working full time. Now we are a blended family and have added 2 more daughters to our house who she takes care of as well! She goes to work in the middle of the night so that she can be …home with us after school to help with homework and take us to lessons and sports. She makes sure we have home cooked meals together almost every night. She makes sure to hug us all of the time and tell us how much she loves us!! She’s teaching us how to be strong women who can do all kinds of things! She definitely deserves to be pampered!

Hi everybody!
We are Nigel and Graham Hagin and our mom Mikele Schappell needs a makeover! She is very beautiful and has nice long hair, but she thinks it’s boring and wants to cut it off! We like it long, but need someone to do something to it to make her feel special…cause she is…duh!!! We love Bishops, but can’t afford to send her there and give her all the special stuff included in the contest thingy. Please vote for our mom people, or we will be sad and may have to let dad bust out the clippers on her do!
